The Government’s Vision for Scotland - 08 Jul 10

Invitation to a Public Meeting with the First Minister and members of the Scottish Cabinet

Dornoch, Stirling, Isle of Bute and Kilmarnock

As part of the Summer Cabinet Tour this year, the Scottish Cabinet will be visiting communities across the country and hosting public meetings to discuss the Government’s aspirations and vision for Scotland.

It is the Cabinet’s intention to use these events to engage directly with representatives from the local community. I would therefore like to ask you to nominate a local representative to attend the event in the location most convenient to you or your colleagues.

The public discussions are themed around The Government’s Vision for Scotland – they are an opportunity to hear directly from the Scottish Cabinet and to then take part in a question and answer session on any of the issues that your representatives would like to raise.

The event will open at 12:30pm and light refreshments will be available. The question and answer sessions will end at 2:30pm. Tea and coffee will then be available, along with the opportunity to meet Ministers before the event closes at 3:00pm.

These events are open to local and national media and will be recorded, with video and audio coverage appearing on the Scottish Government Website.

The events will be held at the following times and should you or a nominated representative wish to attend you must register online using the link below:
