There are 45,000 voluntary organisations in Scotland involving up to 130,000 paid staff and over 1.2 million volunteers. The sector manages an income of £3.2billion.

The conference aims to consolidate and advance the knowledge base of Scotland’s third sector by connecting researchers from government, academia and the public, private and third sectors with policy makers and practitioners across Scotland.

This event is produced by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the Centre for Public Services Research (CPSR) at Edinburgh University Business School and the ESRC Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy (CGAP) at the Cass Business School.
